Many areas around the country are seeing a slow down in sales, but locally we saw an increase between July and August. According the MLS, in July 2022, there were 612 home sales in Ashtabula, Lake and Geauga Counties. In August 2022, that number of sales increased to 674 in the same counties. However the average price of the homes sold, did dip a bit. In July the average price was $264,157, while in august, it was $251,409.
