Shawni Marich is an enthusiastic, smart-working professional real estate broker who uses a personal touch with her clients combined with attention to detail, extensive research and the latest technologies in real estate to drive results in sales and customer service. With 12+ years in the business, over 500 personal transaction side sales under her belt, and oversight of over 1,000 total transaction sides as a principal broker, she has the experience you need on your sale or purchase.
Shawni’s passion for real estate began in her senior year at John Carroll University back in 2012, working on an award-winning real estate team. She quickly became a valuable asset supporting the team by managing real estate transactions and by providing all aspects of listing management, marketing, leads and sales generation. During her time at Keller Williams Shawni’s efforts contributed to multiple awards in excellence for the Tim Ambrose Team.
2015 - Top team in Northeast Ohio MLS by Agent Count for Units Sold (240 units sold by a team of 3!), selling the majority of HUD owned sales in four counties.
2016 - #1 Team of over 180 Agents for Units Sold, 95th out of 170,000 Agents Internationally for Units Sold, and #1 Brokerage in Ashtabula, Lake, and Geauga Counties for Units Sold.
In 2017 Shawni took her career to the next level and obtained her Ohio real estate brokerage license. She debuted Novella Realty in Austinburg, Ohio with one agent offering 22 listings, 1 completed sale, and 3 listings on contract within the first month. Novella Realty quickly grew into a larger office throughout the years to follow and added multiple agents and a massive increase in sales production. Their office location moved to Jefferson, Ohio, the County seat of Ashtabula County.
In the years 2018 through 2022, Shawni consistently ranked among the top 10 agents within Ashtabula County Board of Realtors® in sales volume and transactions. Her company Novella Realty consistently ranked among the top 5 brokerages in the county from 2020 through 2024 with far less agents than all the competitors.
In November of 2024 Shawni made the jump from principal broker of Novella Realty to leader of the Novella Group at Platinum Real Estate. The synergistic relationship between Novella and Platinum Real Estate has proven to be a huge benefit to her clients and agents, freeing up valuable time and energy, thereby affording the ability to offer a higher level of service and care.
Shawni graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from John Carroll University. She’s received multiple awards in real estate, including Broker of the Year as voted by her peers in 2018 & 2019.
She owns a home in Geneva, Ohio with her husband Joe, 3 girls, and their golden retriever.
